Clobber the Pop-up Ads Once and for All

Adware is one of the largest sources of headaches for computer users today. This type of software doesn't spy on you or anything quite like that - instead, it covers your screen in ads, even when you aren't connected to the Internet.

What is Adware?

Adware will often embed itself deep within your computer and make it almost impossible for you to remove it. It creates annoying pop-up ads while you are using the internet and even when you are not connected. It can change your home page and even change certain pages to display their own messages, which are sometimes obscene. Removing adware from your computer is very important because this software has installed itself without your knowledge or consent. It will track your online activities and in rare cases your personal information. The main purpose is to make money from their ads rather than sell your personal information although this would not be impossible. It embeds itself deep in the root cellar of your computer and is almost impossible to remove. Most average computer users could not even find these files nor would they dare try and remove them for fear of deleting the wrong type of file and causing even more damage to their computer. The adware itself causes no ill effects on the computer itself aside from being annoying and slowing down your hard drive.

While legitimate adware companies will disclose the nature of data that is collected and transmitted in their privacy statement, there is almost no way for the user to actually control what data is being sent nor would most users know how to go about removing this or have the time to waste doing this.

In my opinion this type of advertising infringes on a persons personal life style and compromises the investments they made for the equipment and services that they pay for to use the internet. This should be outlawed but the internet is so large and to date impossible to police. If I didn’t have adware on my computer and kept getting these pop-up ads I would be apt to take a hammer and clobber the screen to get rid of them but adware software is cheaper than a new monitor. Besides, do these companies who send these annoying pop-ups actually think a person would buy from them after being so annoyed by them??

There is a lot more that can be said about this type of annoying advertising so for more information and some product reviews please visit the website below.
