Does SafeFighter Make Your PC Safe?

SafeFighter may appear to be a legitimate tool to remove infections, but it is actually a rogue security program that uses misleading security alerts and warnings to purposely frighten the user.  These messages are intended to convince the user that if they purchase the product, all infections, malware and other parasites that are detected in the scan will be removed.  This is a scam – don't waste your money!

Most of these malicious applications perform in pretty much the same manner.  They display aggressive and constant security warnings to the user, alerting them to infections that supposedly exist on their PC.  These infections in fact are created by SafeFighter and are harmless, but later displayed to you as serious infections.  This is just an attempt to scare you, in the hopes that you will decide to purchase the product to remove these infections.  This application is itself malware, and is dangerous.

This rogue usually installs with the help of Trojans, but may also be placed on your PC manually if you fall for their tricks and download the scan.  Other methods that this malware uses to install on your computer is when you download other files, visit questionable websites, or through shared networks.  These programs place themselves on your computer without your permission or knowledge.  The symptoms you begin to see later on are red flags that something is wrong, and you won't miss them.  What are they?

Some of the most common signs of SafeFighter are the aggressive and annoying pop-up ads and security alerts that are constant.  You may notice that your PC has become slower than normal, or is unstable.  If your browser redirects you to websites advertising the product or your home page mysteriously changes, beware.  You probably have malware, and some of it can really cause problems with your computer and personal information.  Your search queries and other online activities may be tracked, or your personal passwords and other business information may be accessed.

If you believe that SafeFighter has been placed on your PC, it is possible to remove it manually.  That being said, unless you are an expert you probably don't want to attempt this yourself, as it is a complex process that puts your computer at risk of damage when not done properly.  To remove this rogue automatically, you should get a reliable antispyware tool that is 100% guaranteed, and removes every trace of malware, infections and other parasites!  Don't risk it – protect your PC now.
