ECommerce Programming for Microsoft Dynamics GP

Dynamics GP generic ecommerce integration programming.  You can deploy such tools as Web Services for Dynamics GP or directly eConnect libraries in your ecommerce Visual Studio web application.  In any case - your ecommerce integration application will deploy eConnect as architectural foundation.  eConnect encrypted stored procedures replicate Dynamics.DIC Great Plains Dexterity business logic (however we would like to give good credits to eConnect, as it is more Object Oriented Programming compliant, comparing to Dexterity Sanscript, where procedural programming orientation is obvious).  Programming in Dexterity directly is possible, however if objects, libraries and methods are available via eConnect, and eConnect is more C# or VB.Net programmer user friendly comparing to Dynamics GP Dexterity, we recommend you to concentrate on eConnect self study and training

2. Dynamics GP Integration Manager ecommerce integration and its scheduling.  IM is more end user friendly tool and as drawback, it doesn't allow you to manipulate IM integration calling directly from your ecommerce web shopping cart application.  In our opinion, however, it is much easier to setup integration and if you are done with setup, you can schedule it to run one demand, or in advanced cases to call it via Windows Macro addons available on free o shareware software markets
