Most spyware removal tools cost money because they have software teams working improve the software and writing all that code for the it.  I don't want any part of that.  But luckily for those on a budget, there are some free spyware removal tools out there.  There are some totally free ones, but most are a free version of a paid version of the software.  One example is the Ad-aware software made by Lavasoft.
