I am a php programmer working for an offshore web development company that provides various IT services including IT staff augmentation, PHP and ASP.NET programming. I hire PHP programmers and ASP.NET programmers for my company.
Over a year after the wall street crash, the business prospects of outsourcing industry seems to be thriving. Corporate business firms have reported an upward a new momentum in receiving new outsourced business projects, indicating that the economy is becoming brighter, at least for the part of the world which offers cheaper services for a variety of businesses processes.
The economic slump has shifted the dynamics of businesses around the world. Global companies are pressed with a need to complete available projects within a certain time limit. However, the spending capacity for the project is less than before and there is a need to save the cost of service. In order to meet the deadlines, many global companies are seeking help from professional offshore companies who offer IT services at a competitive price. As a result there has been a boom in the amount of projects being outsourced.
Software development, web development, IT staff augmentation are some of the sought after offshore IT services. While the habit of outsourcing services has been increasing due to tight funds, offshore companies on the other hand are gearing up for growth post downturn triggered by the wall street crash in 2008.
While large corporations are using their history and proven success track record to pitch outsourced projects, smaller firms and start ups are offering services at a lower budget and using cost as their advantage to grab projects. Any which way, practice of outsourcing is backing the business projects across the world and is giving momentum to the laid back economy that resulted due to economic downturn.
