Carl runs a site devoted to helping you rid your computer from all sorts of spyware and malware at http://www.spyzooka.com/
Cyber Security is a rogue security program that purposely displays misleading security alerts or fake anti-spyware scanners to fool you into believing that your PC is infected or has spyware installed. Security warnings will be displayed constantly, in the hopes that you will become alarmed about threats that may exist on your computer. This is all a ploy to get you to purchase the product, which really does not even exist.
If you get these alerts, you will then be directed to download the Cyber Security scan to detect these supposed infections. Once placed on your PC, your system may be seriously compromised. This malicious application has the ability to block system tools and even security programs. It will continuously display warnings, and if you do download the scan, the results shown are fake – they are harmless files that are created by this malware in order to scare you. This program cannot detect or remove any infection or parasite, and is completely useless.
As with most other malware, Cyber Security remains resident and causes many things to happen with your PC. Since these programs run constantly in the background, most use an enormous amount of system resources. Your computer will likely become slow, or even unstable. Nagging pop-up ads, security warnings and banners will greet you at every turn. You may also notice that your browser sends you to unknown websites, or that your home page has changed.
Other things that are quite common are that malware like this will track your online activities and may access personal information. Your search queries and interests may be sent to third parties, who will then send you even more annoying ads. Personal passwords may be accessed, as well as private business data. Cyber Security, like most other rogue programs, often installs when you download other files, visit questionable websites, or share networks with others. Spam emails may also be to blame.
If your PC is showing any of the above symptoms, you may have malware. Although it is possible to remove these infections yourself, it is a complicated process that could cause damage to your computer if not done correctly. To remove Cyber Security automatically and completely restore security, you should get a reputable antispyware program that is 100% guaranteed to remove all traces of infections, spyware and other parasites. Your PC will be safe and secure once again!
