The head of the states in these countries have assembled together to recognize the issues that might be the thorns in the way of development along with earmarking the strengths. The Latin American countries are aiming to augur progress, development, and growth from the beginning of the year 2010. One thing that all the thinkers and the head of the states agree upon is that the literacy rate needs to be increased. The citizens have to be encouraged to pursue higher education in all the concerned fields. These countries have come to realize that without education it would be an uphill task to accomplish the target they have decided for themselves. Even in countries like India where the literacy rate is below par, the current development have been possible only because of the fact that there are people in India who are well versed in the technical fields and are also highly educated. The Latin American countries are also aiming at educating their citizens on the technical fields along with augmenting higher education for the people. University education is also advocated for the people. The governments are trying to do their best to encourage and help people in pursuing higher studies.
Technology is one of the most important tools of development today. Fields like ecommerce are on the boom and to cash in on this development, technical knowledge is a must. For instance, India is favorite as an Indian IT outsourcing company.
