Make your DVD cover and DVD disc look just like the original

To copy a DVD movie is easy to do, if you have the right DVD copy software and the correct knowledge.  It’s even better if you can use free DVD copy software to copy your DVD’s.

Now, you have copied your DVD movie successfully, but is it really pretty to have a silver disc, maybe a title written on it in your own handwriting, stuffed in a DVD rack somewhere in your movie collection?  Why not make it look exactly like the original DVD movie?

Let’s first take the DVD cover of the case.  If you have the original cover of your DVD movie, you can scan it  and print it out.  But, what if you don’t have the original or something really absurd has happened to the original DVD cover, like your 2-year old thought that the cover looked like something that had to be tasted.  Don’t despair, there’s always a solution!  Why don’t you just download it from the internet?  Sounds very simple, but, in fact, to find the right cover for your DVD, not even to say the right website that actually has covers to download.  And to make it worse - you finally find the correct website, you get the cover you want - but when you click to download this simple image, you are either (a) sent to yet another page with further bizarre instruction on how to download this very illusive image, or worse, you’re redirected to another site, or (b) this simple image was done with such a high resolution in such a fashion of making this simple images’ size huge. So huge, that it takes forever to download the image.  Any DVD cover image that is worth  downloading should at least have a file size smaller than 1MB.  But, after all, there are still sites who value their clients’ time and patience, by having the most popular DVD covers available, ready for easy downloading. For example, dvdcopyplanet.com has a Free DVD Covers page, where you can search your DVD cover, find it instantly, without leaving for more pain-in-the-neck advertising, the only time your browser will open a new window, is when your DVD cover pops up, lovely as ever, just how you wanted it.

Now, you’ve got your DVD cover for your movie, what about the DVD disc?  At the moment, your DVD disc looks pretty dull, unless you have a DVD writer that has a LightScribe function where you can burn an image to the disc.  This doesn’t look to bad on the DVD disc, it’s also very cost effective, doesn’t use ink and scribes pretty quick.  You can also print the exact label on the DVD disc, in full color, using a printer that has this function and printable DVD discs.  Now, you’ll have a copy of your DVD that looks exactly like the original.  With the original DVD cover and disc label – downloaded from dvdcopyplanet.com – your copy of your DVD, will look like the original, even good enough to give as a gift to someone special.
