Remove WinPC Antivirus – How To Get A Win PC Antivirus Removal

Think you may be a victim of WinPC Antivirus?  Recently this has been a very popular issue.  This is a rogue virus that has been taking the internet by storm, attacking millions of computers across the world.  If you have been infected it is best to conduct a WinPC Antivirus removal as soon as humanly possible.

The longer you let the virus stay on your system the greater the risk.  The virus penetrates the registry and will create bogus pop up alerts.  It will alter your browser or system desktop settings.  It also has spyware and keyloggers which can steal sensitive information.  This can include passwords, social security, and credit card numbers.

So how did WinPC Antivirus get into your computer?  There can be a number of ways.  For instance:

  • Accessing malicious freeware programs.  There is a reason why many of these programs are free.  The developers are paid instead to bundle them with malicious items.
  • Penetrating your computer through Adobe software.  Adobe is a popular victim of virus attacks.  Keep your real time virus defense on whenever you are online.
  • Checking out a malevolent website that hijacked your web browser and installed the virus into your computer.  This can happen pretty often without real time antivirus protection.

Although you may be getting pop ups that say something like “your computer is infected!” DON'T fall for the trap. All this program will do is scam you out of money, steal your identity, and make your computer worse.

WinPC Antivirus Removal

If you want to remove Win PC Antivirus you need to consider:

  1. Removing all related processes (any malicious EXE files)
  2. Removing any associated DLL files (Dynamic Link Library)
  3. Removing any critical .lnk files asccociated with the virus
  4. Go into the registry, locate and remove dangerous files in following directories  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE

HKEY_CURRENT_USER

Every infection is unique so there is no guarantee of which kinds and how many malicious files are on your system.  But make sure you remove the infection all at once, otherwise it will simply regenerate the next time you startup.

Luckily there is a method to remove WinPC Antivirus for non computer geeks.  With the right removal software you can get rid of the virus in minutes.  I have found one in particular that also provides real time protection to fight potential infections.

I only recommend getting rid of the virus on your own if your an an expert with computers.  It is quite difficult and hazardous to remove WinPC Antivirus if you do not know precisely what you are doing.  Remove the wrong files from the registry and you can cause additional damage to your system.
