Share Iphoto on a Network

One of the great things about iPhoto is that it allows you to share your pictures and albums with your friends right on their computers with a few very simple steps. There is no need to log on to any social networking site. Just open your iPhoto.

If you already have your iPhoto up and running, point your mouse cursor to "iPhoto" at the upper left side of the page and click "Preferences" from the drop-down menu. The dialog box "General" pops up. Right below the title are six icons, the third of which is labeled "Sharing". Click this.

A new dialog box titled "Sharing" appears. Click the box before "Share my photos" and select either "Share entire library" or "Share selected albums" depending on whether you want to share your entire collection or only a few albums. If you choose the latter a list of all your stored albums which has been previously appearing in gray font turn to black indicating that it is now active. You will need to select the specific album you want to share by checking on the small box right before its title.

After selecting the album, you will need to enter a name for it in a box following "Shared name". This will let others know that your album is available for their viewing.

You do not have, however, to display your photos to the whole world if you do not want to. You can restrict access to your album by setting up a password for it. Just click on the small box before "Require password" and type a password in the box following it. You can then e-mail it to persons who you want to view your album.

You can also view other people's photos by clicking on "Look for shared photos". Shared albums appear on your source list from which you can select what you want to view.

It’s a field where only advancement says about the action, upgradation tells about the depth achieved.
