Microsoft Office 2010 will be released in the first quarter of 2010. This is an update to the Office 2007 that most people are using today. In 2007 we saw some substantial changes to the software, and while this update is not as significant, there are going to be subtle changes that may require some training. Many people are worried about how they will learn to use these new features or allow for these changes, but they needn’t be. Training courses for Office 2010 are widely available. Buying the DVD courses will allow you to learn the new changes and additions to the software from the convenience of your own home or even from your computer. You’ll be given an up close and personal view of the changes, how they will affect you, and how you can continue to use the applications that you always have despite these changes. It’s important to realize that while the changes are not as substation as they were in 2007; there are some changes that will affect your every day use of the applications.
One of the areas that you will want to learn more about is the Office Web Applications. This is new to Office 2010 and will make applications available for access and use on the web. This is a new concept that many are looking forward to, but because it is all new it will require some training if you want to implement these new applications and changes right away. The training will not take much of your time, but it will give you access to some helpful tips and information that will put you ahead of the curve and allow you to hit the ground running.
Office 2010 CBT, or computer based training, doesn’t just need to take place with the help of a DVD. You may be able to access programs online that will take you through the changes and how to implement them via downloads or streaming web videos. This will also allow you to access pertinent information in a format that convenient. In these programs you will be given detailed information about how to use any new features and how changes were made but the applications you use will continue to be used by you in much the same way as you have always used them.
With changes to the most popular office software in the world, it stands to reason that everyone can benefit from one type of training or another. It doesn’t matter if you are new to the Office applications or if you have been using them for years, you can benefit from learning about changes and additions to this version.
