You may think that Windows Smart Security will detect infections and protect your PC from future parasites and other malware, but think again! This is actually a rogue security program designed to look real to the user, so that they will eventually purchase the product to remove threats from their computer. Beware though; this application has no ability to perform any of the services it claims to.
Through continuous and misleading security warnings, this program alerts the user to infections that supposedly exist. These symptoms are common indicators of spyware.
Other things that may concern you about this program is that it may track what you do online and gain access to private information. Your personal passwords, credit card information and other business data may be at risk. In worst case scenarios, your PC may even crash. Windows Smart Security should be removed as soon as possible, but don't attempt to do this yourself. It is a difficult process that could lead to further damage of your computer.
