Says Phil: "I was asked recently how to help a family member who will not accept the loss of a loved one, and has kept everything in the house as if the person is still there. Well, I have two answers here. Whilst I believe firmly that it is possible, and right, to retain contact with someone in the afterlife, I feel younger persons also need to be able to move on with their life, and allow others to come in. However, I do feel for older people, there is nothing wrong with leaving things as they are, or for parents who lose a child to do so. You don't need to do it for them, but it helps you to feel their presence. You can walk into the room, and 'feel' them more easily than if you take everything out. It doesn't mean you can’t accept they are gone. It acknowledges that you love them, miss them, and still feel their presence. On my website on life after death, I share a video that has helped many, called "Coffee-Time", and whether it’s sitting in a room that’s untouched, or holding a favourite coffee mug, it will help you feel the presence of a passed loved one. The poem came to me in a light dream a few years ago. Visitors to my site will know that I accidentally found a way for ordinary people to contact family in the afterlife and verify it, and not long after writing my book, I feel a strong need to have something I could share for free, to help a large number of people gain comfort from my simple technique on contacting the afterlife.
