No country in the world plays soccer like Brazil. No country has the tradition and glory that has been won by Brazilian teams. Not England, Argentina, Italy, Germany, Spain or anybody else.

The greatest soccer players have been Brazilian, the largest stadium is in Rio and the Brazilian fans are the most fanatical.

Soccer in Brazil is more than two teams of 11 players attempt to put an inflated ball into goal cages at opposite ends of a playing field. Soccer is a childhood tradition, starting as soon as a boy can walk, and continuing throughout childhood and adolescence in the streets and fields of every city and village in Brazil, before, after and even during school hours.

Brazil is the birth place of the Samba – music which makes people happy all over the world. Samba is originated in Rio de Janeiro around 1920 and is still together with Samba-pagode and Samba-reggae (the band Olodum from Salvador da Bahía made samba-reggae famous) one of the most popular styles of Brazil. Modern Samba was developed from an earlier Brazilian musical style called Choro. Both Samba the dance and music can take many forms, from the vivacious call response of samba de enredo, the music of Carnaval to samba-cancon or song samba, a more relaxed guitar and rhythm variant. Various samba schools have been founded throughout Brazil. A samba school combines the dancing and party fun of a night club with the gathering place of a social club and the community feeling of a volunteer group. During the spectacular Rio Carnival famous samba schools parade in the Sambódromo. An event that should not be missed.

With a Tropical climate, world-famous sports and music, beautiful beaches and a year-round tourist season, Brazil is set to benefit purchasers with buy-to-let investment strategies. The low cost of living (20% of that in the UK) also appeals to investors and tourists looking for a lower cost alternative to the peaking Caribbean market. There are no complications regarding of ownership of property in Brazil and investments can be purchased as 100% Freehold.

Growth is being centered on the coastal destinations of Fortaleza, Salvador and Natal in particular, which is the closest point of Latin America to Europe and the location of a new airport which shall be the EIGHTH largest in the world. Easy access from North America and Europe is on the increase, with costs of travel reducing each year, giving Brazil a truly global investment and tourism appeal.
