We are all aware that sports are one of the very important things that we should do in our daily life. It does not only help us to have a healthy body and immune system but it also gives us fun and enjoyment.
There are lots of sports in this world. Sometimes, the first thing that comes into our mind when we hear about sports is that we use our energy so much which will make us tired. But actually there are some sports which we only have to use our minds in playing these games.
First, sports that is a mind game is billiard. Billiards is a game which is played on a cloth covered table with a cue and many small balls. Another is chess which is always called a smart sport because you have to plan and examine things correctly. It is a game which is played on a square table with 64 smaller squares and with one king, one queen, two bishops, two rooks, two knights and eight pawns.
Some sports are also dangerous because sometimes it causes someone to be hurt. Boxing is a very dangerous sport where two participants fight with each other with fists. Once a person is knocked down and cannot get up himself, the other wins the competition. Wrestling also belongs to this group. But wrestling is less dangerous and often injure your hands only.
Lastly, there are sports which will improve your health and inspire your spirit. First is football. It is a game played on a grass field with 22 tow people who try to gain the possession of the ball and score. Another is swimming. Swimming involves competition amongst participants to be the fastest over a given distance under self propulsion. The different events include 25(8&U), 50, 100, 200, breaststroke, backstroke and butterfly, the 25(8&U), 50, 100, 200, 400, 500, 800, 1000, 1500, and 1650 free and the 100, 200, and 400 individual medley (IM, consisting of all strokes). The order of the individual medley is butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke, freestyle. Having a good swimming facility is important to some athletes. Having pool winter covers for instance is a must.
There are still many sports which will not make you keep stay and fit but will also give you fun especially when it fits your interest. Sports really are a good thing to be engaged with.
