Eight Great Ways to Practice Personal Hygiene When Camping

You stumble onto the campground after a battle...with Mother Nature. Your skin resembles Pig Pen's from the Peanuts gang, who was constantly covered in a cloud of dust and dirt. All day long, the sun's blistering temperatures have activated your body's natural air conditioning system: sweat. Bacteria-infested insects have been munching on your skin all day long. You'll have to wait until you return to Berlin Ohio or wherever else you live, for a hot shower. But until then, you'll need to periodically clean your skin and teeth, to ensure that your fellow campers won't threaten to toss you into the river before you get an invitation to the next meal.

Maintaining personal hygiene is of the utmost importance when camping. It will help you to feel better, keeps bugs away, and makes it more tolerable for your fellow campers to be around you. In the long run, that will make your camping trip more enjoyable. By following some simple tips, you can stay clean as a bean:

1. From time to time, use rubbing alcohol to clean areas that easily become dirty during hiking, including your feet. This will help to prevent dirt and grime from caking onto your skin. Your fellow campers will thank you for it.

2. If there's no water available for bathing, Coleman Anti-bacterial towels are the next best thing. After hiking, cycling or kayaking, they're perfect for getting the bulk of the dirt and grime off your body.

3. At the end of the day, clean or rinse your hiking clothes if a water source is available. If that's not possible, air out your concerns by airing out your clothes. Also, it's not advisable to sleep in the same clothes that you hiked in.

4. Coleman bath products can help to make it easier to camp with dental hygiene products. Just make sure to rinse your mouth far away from your camping tent, as the scent could attract unwanted bugs and bears to the campground. You could use a water source that will easily dissolve the contaminated water.

5. While hiking throughout the day, take care of your feet. Change your socks at least once during a hike. This will do wonders for your tired doggies. Also, from time to time, soak your feet in a creek, river, or other natural body of water. Do that for a few minutes. This will help to keep your feet clean and prevent blisters. And if your campground is near a water source, you can wash your socks at nighttime so you'll have a fresh pair by the next day.

6. Never camp with cosmetics, perfumes, and colognes. Leave them in Berlin Ohio or wherever you live, since the scents can attract insects and bears. An antiperspirant that's odorless is certainly a useful option for your next camping trip.

7. Make sure to clean your hands with soap immediately before eating, before preparing meals, and after "bathroom" breaks. Remember that bacteria can be microscopic, so clear hands aren't necessarily a sign of clean hands. If using soap, keep washing your hands for as long as it takes to sing the "ABC song."

8. Use Coleman bacterial towels or biodegradable soap to give yourself a "sponge bath" during your hike. This will provide you with temporarily relief from that icky sticky feeling, and kill bacteria.

For your next camping trip in Berlin Ohio or elsewhere, make personal hygiene a priority. Some luxuries of living at home or staying in a hotel will never be achieved during a camping trip. However, following some basic guidelines will help to keep bears away and make you more bearable to your fellow campers.

When I first started sports betting years ago, I used to see the advertisements for foolproof betting systems just about everywhere. One clams 97%, so the next claims 98%. I just wrote off those systems as the sports betting equivalent of a get rich quick scheme. They surely are marketed that way. The sales pages scarcely mention sports, but are loaded with stories about how much you will make.
