Gift Ideas For The Bowling Enthusiast

Would you like to score big and make the bowling enthusiast in your life feel like they just picked up the 7/10 split, or the "beer pin" spare ? Bowling has gained a lot of popularity in recent years. In the town we live in it's not uncommon to see large crowds at the local bowling alley of people from all age groups. Young children, teens, twentysomething, and on up to retirees. Just about everyone is bowling anymore so if you have a bowler in your life and are trying to decided what to buy them for a birthday or other holiday I'll give you some great gift ideas !

Bowling Balls - Bowlers love their bowling balls and a new one is always a great gift idea. Brunswick has a fantastic line of balls called "Viz A Ball" these balls have a variety of images on them. You could get the bowler in your life a ball with their favorite sports team on it, or their favorite rock band. For kids they even have balls with cartoon characters on them, such as Tinkerbell, Shrek, Betty Boop, and the list goes on and on. These make great "spare" balls, and you just can't go wrong with one of them.

Bowling Bags - All bowlers need a bag to carry their balls, shoes, and other accessories in. Bowling bags come in a variety of styles. From a backpack type bag that holds one ball, to bags on wheels that can hold up to 6 balls ! If the bowler in your life has been lugging around an old vintage ball bag, surprise them with a great new bag on wheels so they don't have to carry that extra weight.

Bowling Parties - If you're looking for a cool idea for the young bowler a bowling party is the answer. Most bowling alleys have party services and they always go over well. What's included in the party package varies from alley to alley, but most all provide free shoe rental, snacks, x amount of games, and other small trinkets for the attendees. Our local bowling alley cranks up the music, dims the lights, and breaks out the disco ball for kids' parties.

Bowling Accessories - There are a ton of small accessories that you can buy for a bowler. Rosin bags, towels, buffing rags or bags, shoe deoderizers, ball cleaner, ball polisher. There are a wide variety of these types of items to chose from. If you wanted to do something a bit unique you could purchase a number of these small accessories and create a great little bowling gift basket for your favorite bowler.

Whatever the experience level of the bowler in your life is, whether they bowl in leagues or just for fun a few times a month, you can't go wrong with some of the great gifts mentioned above. They're sure to make any bowler happy.
