Manchester United Football Club

Manchester United Football Club is a professional football club, which is considered one of the most successful football clubs in England. Based at the Old Trafford Stadium in Great Manchester, the club has over 300 million supporters all over the world. According to Manchester United news, they have won the Premier League 16 times, and has won more FA Cups titles than other English clubs. Manchester United has also won two European Cups.

Manchester United, also known today by the nicknames “The Red Devils”, “United” and “Man U”, was formed in 1878 by teams of Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway depot. The club has won its first league in 1908; many other trophies followed, starting from FA Cup in 1909. Today, Manchester United is considered one of the richest clubs in the English football. AIG is the shirt sponsor of the club; other sponsorship deals include companies like Nike, Audi, Budweiser, Betfred and Xfm Manchester. The club’s home colors are red and white, and away colors are black. The devil on the badge is refers to the club’s nickname “The Red Devils”.

Manchester United fans see Liverpool as their rival; other rival include famous football clubs, such as Everton and Arsenal. The rivalry derives partly from the success of other clubs, since Liverpool and Manchester competed one against another for many seasons.
