Nike has come up with a new product line, named Nike Air Force One. Nike has always been associated with sports. Almost all its products are meant specifically for certain sporting activity. Hence, consumers are a little surprised to find this new line of shoes to be completely different. They are not running shoes, track shoes, or cycling shoes. Instead, they are just normal looking shoes, with the usual Nike logo printed on the side of the shoes. So who exactly are these new shoes for?

1) Teens and the young.

At first glance, everyone would guess that the shoes are targeted at the teens and the young. After all, most of the designs look hip and fanciful. They are decorated with numerous bright colors, and you can't possibly imagine an adult wearing such bright shoes on the streets. But the young will simply fall in love with these designs.

Understanding that teens usually lead an active life, the shoes are made to be tougher than most ordinary shoes. The soles are thicker, allowing them to absorb the stress if the wearer should run or jump. This makes Nike Air Force One the ideal shoes for anyone who participates in sports occasionally. 2) Young adults.

Young adults are not teenagers. They don't go to school, and some are already in the work force. They are in their 20s, and have an abundance of energy. Because of their high energy levels, they are likely to engage in all kinds of social activities after work. For instance, young adults like to go for a drink with friends. Here is where the problem arises.

A working adult is expected to wear leather shoes to work. These are supposed to be proper working shoes. But if the wearer continues to wear the shoes after work, the feet may be overly stressed. After all, such shoes are different from sports or casual shoes, which are more comfortable to wear.
