You can make a great impression by being a good sportsman or woman, taking constructive criticism from the lacrosse recruiting coaches, and then being willing to try out new ideas so you can gain new skills. Even if you make some mistakes, that's okay, because coaches want to see how teachable you are, as well as how quickly you can catch on to new ideas and how easy you are to work with. Activities such as lacrosse recruiting camps and tournaments also offer you the opportunity to meet college coaches. If college lacrosse staff meet you in person, it helps them to remember you, which is what you want. Lacrosse recruiting events also give you a chance to check out the college campus. This kind of information is invaluable in narrowing down your choice of college, so take advantage of it. Try to attend some classes, go to the library, eat some meals in the school cafeteria, look at the dorms, and see if you like the school.
