Reviews Of Various Las Vegas Casinos

When person or couple visits Las Vegas, the problem or where to go and what to see becomes immediately apparent to the visitors. Gambling palaces are like mushrooms after a rain, they are everywhere in Las Vegas. There are some casinos that should definitely be on a short list of casinos to visit while in town.

In order to be fair, this article will list a few in alphabetical order and not as a preference. A newcomer to Vegas should visit all of these casinos. The List starts with the Bellagio and includes the Mandalay, the Paris, the New York New York and the Rio.

Bellagio

Almost every aspect of the Bellagio is upscale and classy. Some of the highest stakes in poker are played almost daily at this casino. This casino has a reputation for offering big games. Any other facet of this casino is truly elegant and visually inspiring. This is a casino for high rollers and those that are of more modest means. The rooms and food are what you would expect from a classy gambling facility. There are times of the year that a stay here for a night or two can be reserved at lower than usual rates. Look on the Internet to see what specials they are promoting at the time of your visit.

A visit here and a stay could be something special for a couple celebrating an anniversary or their honeymoon. The Bellagio will not disappoint the most discriminating customer. Their service is like the casino, classy in all respects.

Mandalay

Reputation is every thing in Vegas and the Mandalay has it in spades in all parts of its casino hotel operation. The reputation is well deserved and is earned by having a full-scale gambling facility, great rooms and it is on the strip close to everything. The food, the shows, the rooms and the gambling are all at the top of the mark.

New York New York

New York New York is easily found on the strip with the replica of the Statue of Liberty prominently standing directly in front of the casino-hotel. It is a sight to behold at night when it has her face being swept by searchlights. The interior is a very good representation of a New York business street with all kind of stores and food shops along the outside wall. The pastrami sandwich shop is worth the visit for a quick lunch or late night snack. The casino offers all of the usual Vegas table games and slots. The hotel has some solid specials for off days and non-holiday weekends.

You will not be disappointed if you want to visit New York while out west. The casino captures the New York scene to a tee. Let the Statue be your guide and lead you to one of Vegas's better attractions.

Paris

Paris is famous world wide as a place to visit and the Paris Casino in Vegas is as close as some people will ever come to Paris. The 50-story Eiffel Tower can be seen day or night, marking the entrance to one of Vegas's newer casinos. The ambience of the Paris Casino tries with some success to convey Paris to those that have not been there and a reminder to those that have enjoyed the City of Lights. Parisian streets and the Notre Dame de Paris musical production makes for a delightful change from the gambling life of Vegas.

All of the Vegas gaming choices are available at the Paris. High rollers are welcome to play in a special area of the casino that caters to players who are willing to gamble for high stakes. For those that are sports betters or racing punters, they have the use of the very elegant sports book to place their bets. A trip to the top of the Eiffel Tower will give the player an incredible view of the strip from 50-stories above the street. The food is wonderful and the crepe shop is marvelous. Try the Internet for room specials on off nights or weekends that are not part of a holiday weekend.

Rio

The World Series of Poker has held part of its tournaments at this club. Poker and the sports book have made this casino popular with out of town visitors and locals. The casino games are all covered and the rooms are fine for all the needs of most people. Food is excellent and the fact that the casino is always busy tells the tale of a popular destination casino.

This has long been a casino for players of means and also a fair number of lower limit games. Come prepared to enjoy yourself and you will not be disappointed.
Specials are available on the net from time to time for players making a visit to Vegas.

Venetian

The Venetian has long been known as a top line casino in Vegas in all departments. This casino rivals the Bellagio in class and elegance, plus all the normal casino games are offered. Poker is played here at all levels. The palace ambience is not by accident, but is obviously done on purpose. The customers of this casino can take a gondola ride and then visit the wax museum. This will relax the player so the battle with the games in the casino will be fought on a level emotional playing field.

The food and rooms are excellent, as a player would expect in a classy operation like the Venetian. Shows at the Venetian are popular with both visitors and locals who are used to good entertainment. The reviews of this Vegas casino are always at the top of the scale and the Venetian will not be a disappointment to the most demanding visitor. Getting a top rank in the competitive environment of Vegas is almost as difficult as throwing five twelves is a row at the dice table.
The Venetian is up to the challenge and they operate the casino like they intend to keep their top rating.
