Want to Improve Your Golfing Skills? You Dare Not Miss This...

You are a golf player and you do normal workouts day in and day out. But you know what? Normal workouts are not enough for a golf player.

So, here are some specific exercises and tips that you need to do in order to be a successful golf player:

First let me tell you few things that you should avoid:

1. Say no to alcohol and caffeine. Coffee can over fuel your mind and body leading in an uncontrolled performance. Too much of alcohol can also affect you in the same way.

2. Meals- If you need all that energy then do not skip meals. At the same time do not have too much of food as it might affect your concentration and performance. Try to have meal 2 hours before the game and include lot of carbohydrate content in your food. Always remember to drink lot of water. Do not try new food items just before starting the game.

Follow these few tips and improve your golfing skills:

1. Develop a consistent warm-up routine before you play. Warm up your muscles before a round of golf, by doing this you may avoid those aches and pains.

2. Do strengthening exercises. Do curls with lightweight dumbbells which will help to strengthen your arms. If you are still confused on what kind of exercise to choose you can consult you fitness trainer.

3. Stretch at least three times a week, paying
particular attention to your back, shoulders, and arms. Be sure to warm-up for 10-15 minutes before play.

4. Physical strength is one of the important factors for a golfer. There are definitely some benefits to physical strength when it is NOT overdone. Physical fitness can include exercises like stretching.

5. Being fit can strengthen your muscle groups so that you can concentrate on things like balance and coordinating the upper and lower body during the stroke. The arms, abdominals and legs are a good example of three important groups that have to work together to produce a decent swing. By strengthening your muscles, you will have better control of your body. Strength training involves body awareness, muscular control, and coordination. These are all key elements for enhanced golf.

6. Improve your breathing skills while playing.

7. Using a free weight, curl your wrist upwards and hold for ten seconds. Relax for few minutes or so and repeat this for twice or more.

8. If you want to increase your swing without increasing weight, row yourself forward using just one arm at a time. Remember to always stretch before and after any workout.

Follow these tips and you will hopefully be a leaner, stronger, and a fitter golfer.
