So you love to go fishing and now you want to take a bass fishing vacation. Good for you but did you investigate your vacation or did you just wake up one day and decide that's what you want to do for the weekend. If you just woke up one day and decided, then you should be warned that a bass fishing vacation is not for everyone especially if your wife doesn't like to fish.
Vacation Packages
There are as many bass fishing vacation packages out there as there are species of fish, picking the right one all depends on what you are looking for. The first question that you want to ask yourself is where you want to go, Alabama, Arizona, Main, New York, North Carolina. Then you have to ask yourself how long do you want to be gone, maybe it's just for a weekend or as long as a few weeks. Once you figured that out then you have to ask yourself how much money you want to spend.
You can spend anywhere from $78.00 to $300.00 dollars a night. It all depends on the accommodations and amenities, whether or not if you want to stay in a tent or a full service resort all depends on you. I would suggest a full service resort if you are taking a non-fishing better half. The advantage of using a bass fishing vacation packages is that the travel agent will do all the foot work for you but it comes at a price.
Doing it Yourself
You can save a bundle of money if you plan a bass fishing vacation on your own. It's not a difficult task to perform, it just takes time. Again decide on where you want to go then decide on how much you want to spend.
Where you save money is that you are doing the foot work so you're not paying a commission plus you don't have to compromise anything that a bass fishing vacation package may or may not offer. This is the ideal way if you plan on staying in your home state.
If you are planning to go out of state then I would recommend that you use a bass fishing vacation package for a couple of different reasons. The first reason is the license will be included in your trip package and the second reason is that most of the packages will offer a fishing guide so you can get the most for your buck.

By: Paul Scott | 04/01/2010Fitness is transient and you'll lose it if you're not active for several months. There may be latent fitness below the surface, but it takes time to regain. Thinking of Becoming a Triathlete?
By: Paul Scott | 04/01/2010Becoming a triathlete is all about thinking of yourself as a jack of three trades rather than a specialist in one sport. Triathlons and Equipment Required
By: Paul Scott | 04/01/2010Triathlon is an equipment-intensive sport. To compete, you need to have gear for swimming, biking, and running (which adds up to a carload), and there are many added extras that are nice to have during training. Although the fitness and strength of a rider are the biggest determining factors in performance, equipment is a key area where improvements can be made. Obviously, you will go faster with less energy on a 19-pound, titanium, triathlon filly than a 40- pound, discount-store steed. A fast
