Best Security Products for a Safe Exhibition or Tradeshow

Organizing an exhibition or trade show is not a matter of determining which stalls go where and which programs should come up first in today’s itinerary. You also need to consider the security of everyone who’s attending and involved with the event. One security incident and your reputation could suffer permanently.

Keep your exhibition and trade show safe from all kinds of threats with the use of the security products listed below.

Metal Detectors
Although there are several technologies used for metal detection, all of them only come in two forms: metal detector arches and handheld detectors. For maximum protection, you’ll need to use both.

These may be rented so you need not worry about how much it will cost you to purchase one. Make sure that there’s a metal detector, regardless of what form, in every entry or exit area in the venue.

Security System
Exhibits and trade shows are vulnerable to burglars, vandals, and other crimes when the lights go out and the working day is over. To make sure that any expensive and hard-worked décor you’ve put up and inventory left within the premises remains safe and uncompromised, do make use of the best security systems.

A comprehensive wireless security system will allow you to remotely monitor the area wherever you may be. All you need is to properly configure the system’s network and access it online. Security cameras must be positioned to capture every possible angle. They must be equipped with infrared for night vision and have enough hard drive to record footage for the entire night. Use dummy cameras to deter crime and perhaps fool attackers into thinking that they have compromised your security system.

Alarms must be placed in every possible entry and exit like doors and windows. If there are particularly valuable assets within the premises, you might want to consider installing motion sensors as well. One wrong step and the offender will be caught in the act!

Fire Alarm System
Naturally, human threats are not only your possible problem. Trade shows and security exhibits will also suffer from any fire incident so be sure to have an alarm ready for that, too.

Line Alarm System
This can be incorporated with your security alarm system. Once the latter is triggered, your line alarm will automatically dial a preset number and may play a recorded message. If it’s unable to contact the preset number, it will move on to the next number in the list.

With the use of these security products, your exhibit or trade show is sure to be a success!
