Business are a network of interconnecting systems working fluidly together to achieve results. At least in theory.
The lazy business owner creates the best business systems, maximizing productivity. You have to be lazy in business. You have to remove bottlenecks.
You have to remove as many bottlenecks as you can. Slim that system down so that a 16 year old can come in and run things.
If you have simple systems that are easy to run, you can hire cheap labor. So what took You the business owner, 1 hour to do, if you create simple systems and hire cheap help would reduce that 1 hour task to 20 minutes.
So what took you 1 hour to do, and let's say you estimate your worth per hour is $80 dollars. If you reduce that down to a simple system that a 16 year old part time worker can do in 20 minutes, you've reduced your cost by 20x Times!
You have to be lazy in order to have a lean mean money making machine. In order to have a big business, you have to far detached from it's operations as possible.
In order to be rich you have to learn to be lazy. Do the things that requires you to do and nothing more.
Once you have a lean mean system that's operated by other people. Then you can increase your inputs. (Customer Base, Marketing) and achieve higher profits.
So in summary:
1) Get rid of bottlenecks in your operations.
2) Create simple systems that a 12 year old could follow.
3) Hire help, either in house or outsource to completely take care of the operations side of your business.
4) Multiply and increase your operations system because you are about to...
5) Increase your marketing to get new leads to put your new systems to good use.
