You'll need to be proactive if you want to cure your job stress. Next, to cure your job stress totally, you need to get to the root of the problem, i.e. you need to know what causes job stress.

What are the Causes of Job Stress?

9/10 people agree that job stress results from the interaction of the worker and the work's conditions. Nonetheless, views might differ on the importance of worker characteristics versus working conditions as the primary cause of job stress. The different perspectives are important because they suggest different ways to prevent stress at work.

According to a research by medical professionals and scientists, the personality traits and coping style of individual characters are most important in predicting whether certain job conditions will result in stress - in other words, what is stressful for one person may not be a problem for someone else.

How To Cure Job Stress?

Looking into stress management in the workplace, we need more than helpful tips. What we need is to learn from experience and learn ways to manage stress effectively. We have been pulled in multiple directions by the changing economic times. The pressures and demands between work and personal life are blurred. As a result, the consequences of stress in the workplace come from what is happening to each of us both on and off the job.

One of the best ways to manage stress in the workplace is to take interval breaks frequently. This means that you must try to give yourself a short break for approximately every 15 minutes or so and avail yourself of a break of a few minutes about every hour.

If you realize you are not able to focus completely somehow into your work, you should give your eyes a break and take a quick stretch break in your chair. Having such breaks will allow your brain to recover a little bit of energy and allow you to return to the task at hand.

My best method of relieving job stress at your workplace is to simply close your eyes and take deep breaths. The key to this technique is to teach yourself to avoid thinking about work while you are doing this breathing exercise. In fact, you should simply concentrate on your breathing. In essence, this is a form of meditation and it is a very good way to refresh your brainpower. This is because, when you are thinking about your breathing, you are thinking about almost nothing at all.

Always give yourself space to quiet down and relax. Calm your mind and body by doing deep breathing exercises. Tell yourself that everything can be done pacefully and make sure you eat well, sleep well and exercise often.
