It has been discovered that people with fibromyalgia almost always have a protein deficiency which in turn causes an enzyme deficiency as the body uses the amino acids from proteins to manufacture enzymes. Enzymes in turn are used for almost all functions in the body. Studies have also shown that people with fibromyalgia have a sulfur deficiency.
Also prevalent as one of the symptoms of fibromyalgia is hypoglycemia or the inability of the body to metabolize carbohydrates. This symptom is also connected to protein deficiency or the body's inability to break down protein into amino acids. The pancreas needs these amino acids to produce enzymes so your body can digest the foods you eat. Kind of a "catch 22" sort of situation. When there is an enzyme deficiency foods are not digested properly and your body becomes nutrient deficient.
Proteins when digested properly break down into amino acids. These amino acids are involved in creating enzymes, the growth, repair and maintenance of body tissues, balancing blood sugar, digesting food, the proper functioning of the immune system and the production of hormones
So, when you are protein deficient it causes a huge problem for your body. Fibromyalgia is one of the ways this deficiency manifests itself.
Things that start to happen in people with fibromyalgia is the pancreas begins to malfunction. This causes blood sugar imbalances such as hypoglycemia and the inability to digest food properly as the pancreas is unable to produce enough enzymes. This makes you protein deficient as well as vitamin, mineral and fatty acid deficient. It doesn't matter how much protein you eat or how many supplements you take if your body can't digest them. These deficiencies can then lead to a weakened immune system leading to unchecked bacterial growth, yeast overgrowth and the inability to remove toxic metals from your body. At this point there is nothing your body can do as it no longer has the ability to deal with these problems.
When your body can no longer break down protein efficiently into amino acids then you need to supplement them. The best form of amino acids to take are free form or free form and peptide bonded. These are already broken down so that your body can use them immediately without digesting them first. These will help your pancreas begin to produce the enzymes your body needs. Most people feel some improvement almost immediately.
MSM (Methyl Sulfonyl Methane) is a naturally-occurring sulfur compound found in our bodies. It is in most fresh fruits and vegetables but is easily destroyed by cooking and processing. It helps reduce pain and is effective as an anti-inflammatory. Lot's of people with fibromyalgia pain have reported improvement by taking MSM. It works synergistically with free form amino acids and is most beneficial when they are taken together.
It is also helpful to supplement with enzymes to help digest food. Another way to take enzymes is systemically. What this means is that you take the enzymes between meals on an empty stomach so they are not used to help digest your food but are taken up into the blood stream and used throughout your body. An enzyme that is particularly helpful in helping control fibromyalgia pain is serrapeptase. Find out more about this by googling "systemic enzymes."
I also have fibromyalgia and can tell you that free form amino acids along with MSM have helped me more than anything else I have ever tried before. I am almost always pain free now after being on amino acids for about three months.

Enzymes - the Key to Optimal Digestion
By: Jerry Ryan, Ph.D. | 01/05/2007 | Health
Enzymes are vital to the proper breakdown and absorption of foods. They are classified in three categories - amylases, lipases and proteolytic enzymes. Amylases assist in carbohydrate digestion, a process that begins with the saliva in your mouth. Lipases help the body dissolve and absorb fats. Proteolytic enzymes are those which aid the body in assimilation of proteins. As you can see, each group of enzymes plays a substantial role in achieving overall nutrition.

I built a natural gas fire pit that sits in the ...
By: bob909 | 18-06-2008
I built a natural gas fire pit that sits in the top of a water feature. The burner sits above the ignition wire and flame rod wire that goes back to a burner controller. The system has a pilot solenoid and main gas solenoid controlled by the controller. The wiring keeps burning up and is high temperature rated. Could this be due to the fact that there are no openings in the bottom of the pit for air flow creating a low density below the burners. The bowl sits on water so holes would be impractical Any suggestions to correct the problem or recommendations for a commercially available unit would be appreciated
