Human Growth Hormone - Is it Today's Fountain of Youth?

HGH some people strongly believe is what will save the world from the ravages of old age. This hormone is produced naturally in your body by the pituitary gland and taking its supplement is claimed can actually reverse the aging process. It has been nicknamed the hormone of youth. Basically, HGH controls the release of all other hormones in the body and so directs the body and all its functions. During childhood it promotes the growth and development of the body whereas in adults it controls metabolism.

HGH maintains bodily functions

Once we become mature and beginning at the age of about thirty, the production of this hormone of youth somehow slows down. In many studies that have been contacted, HGH has been found to be extremely effective in raising energy levels, enhancing lean muscle formation, decrease of body fat, strengthening the heart, improved cholesterol, strengthening of bones, smoothing of wrinkles, sharpening of memory , improvement of sexual function and repair of damaged tissue.

The human growth hormone supplement is available in various forms so you get to choose what is good for you. The most recommended one is through an intra-muscular injection that is administered by a qualified doctor only. The only draw back with the injection is the high cost that keeps many potential recipients away since they can ill afford it. However there are other alternative forms of HGH that you can get on the market today with almost similar results.

Alternative forms of HGH

Those other alternatives are usually natural and will give you similar results such as the following: increase your energy level, reduce body fat, increase sexual prowess, gain muscular mass, enhance the quality of your sleep, sharpen your memory, and reduce wrinkles on your face and hands. According to research, human growth hormone has a direct impact on all bodily functions and that is whey as it reduces significantly as you age; your energy levels and all other functions slow down also. That leads to low energy and a compromised immune system.

This is the time your body needs a boost of HGH as a supplement to assist the body maintains the normal functions and maintains the look of youth a little longer.

So how does it work?

Human growth hormone is secreted by the pituitary gland and it plays the roles we have just described earlier such as tissue repair and replacement, immune system boosting, and bone strength. Even though the HG levels deplete with age the other alternative way of boosting it is by learning to take a rich HG diet. You can also boost your levels by exercising regularly and consistently, eating foods the promote the natural immunity of the body, and finding and taking correct HG supplements.
