The Best Foods High In Omega 3 Fatty Acids And The Right Way To Take Them

Cow meat and even lamb contain these fats in high quantities. But that is only in animals that live in natural conditions and have a natural diet.

Most of the meat we get in the market is from animals bred in farms that have been artificially fattened up. This lowers the quality as well as quantity of the Omega 3 in them.

Of all the foods high in Omega 3 fatty acids, fish is hands down the best option.

Fish like Mackerel, Trout, Salmon and Hoki contain DHA and EPA in high quantities, which makes them the perfect source of these fats.

If you really love fish, then this is a god send for you. Just make sure to eat these fish in every meal and your body will get enough Omega 3 to get all its benefits.

But if you only like eating fish occasionally, then this may be a problem.

A simple alternative for you then is to take a fish oil supplement derived from these fish. Taking a couple of gels of a supplement daily will be enough to provide you with all the Omega 3 you need.

This has one more advantage – fish oil can contain many impurities absorbed from contaminated ocean waters. When you eat fish directly, these impurities make way into your body.

A supplement, on the other hand, will contain highly purified oil devoid of any contaminants – making it safe for consumption.
