Using Human Growth Hormone on the Aged - What Happens When You Use it When You're 60

For many people when signs of aging come by the simply raise their hands and give up hope because to them the ravages are just inevitable. If this was the case really, the signs of wear and tear caused by age would manifest themselves where a 60 year old would have twice the signs of a 30 year old. Why then is at that at the age of 60 the signs become more visible than those o a 30 year old?

The truth of the matter

By the time we hit the age of 30 on average, we have spent that part of our lives with big amounts of HGH in our system. In children it is HGH that is responsible for growth and it reaches its peak during puberty - it also repairs and regenerates human tissue throughout our lives. By the age of 30 the levels of HGH are only about 20 percent of their peak levels during childhood and they decline to about 12 to 15 percent after that. So at this time the body no longer produces enough HGH to repair all the damage as fast as it ought to.

This decline will cause the signs of aging to begin appearing as the body functions slow down. At this age even if our human growth hormone levels remained so high, we would still continue to go slow until the powers get diminished gradually. So HGH simply affects the manifestation of the signs of the apparent aging that is taking place inside the body. Therefore by increasing the levels of HGH we can slow down, but not stop the aging process. For effectiveness the boosting of the growth hormone should start early enough.

What HGH therapy can do?

HGH will among other things:

  • Reduce excess body fat especially around the abdomen.
  • Increase the muscular lean mass
  • Reduce wrinkles and any other skin conditions that are a sign of aging
  • Regenerate some internal organs that could have atrophied
  • Enhance bone density
  • Boost your immune system
  • Instigate the production of bone marrow cells that produce red blood cells
  • Reduce the chances of you spending your later year in a nursing home.

However, there are things the human growth hormone therapy will not do for you such as:

  • Eliminate the effects of oxidation
  • Undo the effects of cardiovascular disease though it can reduce some effects or slow its progression by improving your cholesterol profile
  • Eliminate the effects of reduction of other hormones in the body
  • Reverse the damage of human proteins caused by glucose but reverse a little of the damage
  • Will keep your skin looking younger but will not eliminate damage caused by UV rays
  • It also cannot maximize your lifespan though it can increase life expectancy for those with HGH defects.

Conclusion

Having said all that, you realize that we can only postpone the effects of aging with human growth hormone therapy for so long.
