Want to Lose Weight? Tips on Finding the Best Green Tea Fat Metabolizer

Finding a quality Green tea fat metabolizer can be a daunting task.  In 1999 a study was published that green tea possessed “thermogenic” properties.  Thermogenesis is when the body creates heat and increases metabolism which helps burn more calories.  Now the latest rage in weight loss products is to contain Green Tea extract.

The problem a lot of supplements have is they also contain high levels of caffeine which can cause insomnia, heart palpitations, restlessness, nausea, headaches and nervousness.  So it’s important to research the product thoroughly before you buy.

It’s no secret that as we age our metabolism slows.  But it’s also influenced by our sex, family history and lean body mass.  The more muscle you have the higher your metabolic tends to be. After age 40 our metabolism naturally slows about 5% per decade.

This is also a good reason to monitor what we eat starting at an early age.  Even though when we are young and think we can eat anything we want our food choices can affect our bodies later in life.  High calorie fatty foods lead to weight gain but can also lead to more serious issues such as diabetes and cardiovascular disease.

Experts claim that our metabolism involves a complex network of hormones and enzymes.  These convert food into fuel and also determine how efficiently you burn that fuel.  According to Robert Yanagisawa, MD, director of the Medically Supervised Weight Management Program at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York, “Metabolism establishes the rate at which we burn our calories and ultimately how quickly we gain and lose weight.”

By definition your resting metabolic rate (RMR) is equal to the number of calories your body burns at rest.  People with more muscle mass (generally men) burn more calories. People with more fat deposits (mostly women) burn less, which is why there are different caloric needs that a man or a woman needs everyday.

A green tea fat metabolizer is intended to aid your body in burning more calories at rest and during exercise.

When choosing a green tea supplement there are 2 important aspects to consider.  1. Does the company manufacture the supplement with an enteric coating?  2.  Does the supplement contain synergistic properties?

The most effective supplements are ones that are formulated with synergistic properties.  This means that the presence of one substance enhances the presence of another.  For example Green Tea is a very powerful herb that not only helps with weight loss but also has other beneficial health qualities.  Green Tea combined with Ginkgo Bilbao work synergistically to enhance thermogenesis and promote weight loss.

Enteric coating is the process by which a tablet is manufactured with an application of a special polymer film that protects the tablet from stomach acid as it passes to the small intestine.  This is a complicated process not often used by companies because it’s expensive.

Since enteric coating will protect the tablet from stomach acid this essentially means that the nutrients will be more potent and readily absorbed into the blood stream.  It’s similar to a high efficiency furnace.  If you pay for natural gas to heat your home you mine as well get the most out of the fuel you use.  When you buy a supplement you want to get the most out of the nutrients you are digesting.

A green tea fat metabolizer can help get your internal engine going to help you burn more calories but also has additional health benefits.  The healthiest, safest, and most effective supplement is one that is a multi-nutrient product.  Green tea in addition to superior vitamins and minerals will help you maintain balance in your body and reach your goals.

It’s important to realize that there is no such thing as a “magic pill” for weight loss.  Losing weight takes time, effort, and determination.  Combine that with a quality green tea supplement and you will get the added health incentives and experience positive results!
