MLM is not a race, or a contest. If you are thinking of quitting, DON”T DO IT! Remind yourself, over and over, that this TAKES TIME! So many people enter the world of network marketing full of hopes and dreams, and then they start to think that it just takes too long, or it is just too hard, or requires too much work.
Yes, it takes time, is not easy, and requires a lot of work. What doesn’t? Does anything in life really come easily? Not for me, it doesn’t. I suspect that is true for everyone. When you join an MLM company, you are essentially starting from scratch.
Sure, your upline can train you and give you the tools you need, but you have to start from the bottom. You probably have no customers and no viable prospects in the beginning, so you begin to build.
Months go by, and still, nothing. No downline, no customers, nada. You have done everything you know to do. You have placed ads, built a website and marketed it, participated in online forums, published articles, joined social networks, etc.
Still, you have seen no results from all those months of effort. Believe me, I can relate. This article is just as much for my benefit as it is yours. I constantly have to remind myself that every step I take leads me closer to the goal. Every little thing that I do to promote or market my business is a seed that is planted that will someday take root and grow.
I know how hard it is to keep this in mind. I know how frustrating it can be when you think that nothing is working. Some will tell you that if a method is not producing results, try something else. The clincher, though, is that you must give something time before you know whether it is working.
The best advice I can give you is to not try several marketing methods at once. Choose two or three, learn them well, and concentrate on just those methods. Make sure that your chosen strategies have worked well for successful people. Do not try to re-invent the wheel. I know that phrase may seem to be over-used in this industry, but it is true.
Every successful network marketer has their own way of building their business. They have each selected the marketing strategies that work for them, and they stick to them. This does not mean that they never try anything new, but it does mean that they stay with the tried-and-true methods first. Then, they may venture out and try the newest thing.
Some marketers focus on only one business-building strategy, such as article marketing or posting in forums. I actually came across a lady recently who stated that all of her website traffic comes from forum participation. This is amazing to me. She must come up with some awesome posts!
I don’t know that I have truly found my niche in marketing my business, but I do enjoy writing articles in an attempt to help others. I have learned so much in my MLM journey that I want to share what I have learned with others.
I hope to help at least one person jump the learning curve faster than I did by providing valuable information. I hope that you find your marketing niche, or that you find at least one method that you truly enjoy. The more you enjoy it, the more time and effort you will put into it.
Just remember that MLM is not a race. If things are not moving as quickly as you had hoped, don’t fret. Don’t feel like you are behind and will never catch up or get there. You will get there, eventually. Want to know the real key to success? Never give up. Never.

Who Moved the Goal Posts

We have selected what we think is the right team member, and the team member selected, what they believed is the correct team for them. We work through twelve months and all of a sudden it hits us. That what the team thought they were getting and what has happened slowly over the past twelve months are two different things. What we needed from a team member in this position and what our team member is delivering are two different things.

As with many instances in business, life, sport, and education, Individuals and teams alike are searching, devising and implementing new and innovative approaches to maintain or increase certain levels of productivity and performance.
As this search for a tried and true methodology to increase results becomes more apparent and necessary. It is not long before the search for increased performance finds itself tripping up on the concept of focus.

Your Warm Market and Network Marketing
By: Ronda Tuckness | 18/07/2008 | Internet Marketing
you use the “warm market strategy” in an attempt to build your network marketing business, you are doomed to fail. How many of your friends and family members have expressed a desire to do network marketing? I know in my case, I have only a couple of friends who do what I do. However, they are in different companies, and they build mostly offline. My interest is only in building online.

Are You a Company Jumper?
By: Ronda Tuckness | 10/07/2008 | Internet Marketing
If you find that you are a company jumper, my advice to you is to put a halt to it right away. You will get nowhere fast. The mere fact that it takes time to build a business is a good enough reason. If you spend a little time on this business, then leave it and jump into another, you are just wasting your time (and money).

Be at Peace With Your Current Circumstances
By: Ronda Tuckness | 03/07/2008 | Internet Marketing
In order to be at peace with your current circumstances, you must be grateful for what you have while you strive for more. Being at peace does not mean that you just accept things as they are. It means that you have an attitude-of-gratitude even though you have not accomplished everything you hope to.
Be True to yourself
