These types of cars are being more and more popular over the world. The electric cars are not too heavy which is a great advantage for the use. The Electric car is a little expensive; it needs initial investment and is quite cheap in the long run because there are no maintenance or fuel costs to be spent. When the electric cars are charged for 2 hours everyday, it would suffice for the whole day to travel. These are cheap cars for the people who can not afford expensive petroleum cars.

Electric cars are most suitable for slow traveling people such as children and aged people. It is good to housewives.  If we talk about the speed, there is a need of some more money initially as fast electric cars are very expensive. The electrical cars with alternative energy have been developed which can run more than 370 km/h. Eliica is a Japanese concept Electric Car which can run 0-100 km/h (62 mph) in 4 seconds. Eliica is the short form of Electric Lithium Ion Car. These cars can also run at the speed of sports cars. This car uses Lithium Ion as the fuel for the battery.
