David Valentino Joins Commence CRM

Commence Corporation is a leading provider of Customer Relationship Management software. The company’s products have been sold under private label by IBM, Lucent Technologies, Compaq Computer and other third party solutions providers. Commence supports thousands of customers through a worldwide distribution network, with outlets in North and South America, Europe and Asia.

Commence Corporation has announced that David Valentino has joined the company as Business Development Manager. Valentino is a software industry veteran who brings more than 20 years of managerial and third party channel experience to the firm. He has held managerial positions at fortune 500 software companies such as Lotus Corporation, Novell, Digital Research and Peachtree software where he helped to expand the company’s distribution channel.

The company has very aggressive customer acquisition plans for their newly released web-based Hosted CRM solution that includes distribution through strategic business alliances as well as direct sales. Valentino will assist the company in finding global partners who are interested in expanding their product offering with a world–class CRM solution that is delivered over the Internet and sold as a service.

“It’s an exciting time for the industry and for Commence Corporation,” says Valentino. “On Demand software represents the next growth wave for small to mid-size businesses and Commence is very well positioned to capture a high percentage of this rapidly growing market.”

Commence CRM On-Demand competes with industry leader Salesforce.com and is quickly gaining notoriety for its flexibility, ease of use and low price point. The solution has already been tailored for the manufacturing and distribution sector and other verticals are in development.
