There are a lot of choices out there for those trying to select a television programming provider. With a little investigation, it is easy to see that Satellite providers are better than Cable providers because you get more for your money with Satelite TV. Prices and the channels being offered is an area where Dish Network is beating the competition. Their lowest base package is $10 less than the competitors. The largest base package is $10 less also. The competition loses again when you look the channels available. Almost all of the channels being offered among the different companies is the same, but it is a closer, detailed look that makes one decide over another. DishNetwork has slightly more local channels available nationwide than the competitors. You may not think that means much until you find out one of the areas the competitors don’t offer local channels is yours. Also, none of the competition comes close to the number of High Definition channels being offered which is 22 more HD channels. There are 15 more Pay-Per-View movie channels available each month. Plus, Sirius Music Channels are offered while the competition doesn’t.

All of the Satelite TV providers are the same in several areas, but it is the slight contrasts that make Dish Network the best choice over its competitors. For example, each of the competitors offers free DVR or HD receiver upgrades to new subscribers. However, there is a discrepancy between companies with the meaning of free. This upgrade is immediately free through DishNetwork, requiring no money to be put down. With the competitors you must first pay for the upgrade then you are given a rebate of the same amount to send in. If you opt for the HD DVR combo receiver upgrade, then will still be paying around $200 for it after the rebate you are given. With DishNetwork you never pay anything extra. It is free also. Other free offers the competitors cannot match is a Protection Plan that you get for 18 months free when joining while it there is a monthly fee for this from the beginning with the others.

DishNetwork has been reviewed and chosen as having the best Customer Satisfaction rating by J.D. Power and Associates who is one of the most reliable and trusted business rating services in the world. This ranking is comparing not only the other satelite TV providers, but also all of the cable TV providers. When the deals and offers are better than the rest as is the satisfaction customers have with the service they receive then it almost seems silly to keep looking for something better. It really doesn’t get better than that.
