The seal performance testing of moisture-proof package can be accomplished with Labthink MFY-01 Leak Tester. This tester consists of mainframe, vacuuming device and vacuum chamber. Through testing, pinhole, crack, inferior seal and other defects can be found.
Place the package into the vacuum chamber filled with water, set the vacuum maintaining time between 30 to 60 seconds. The vacuum rate is set as one of the following: 20, 30, 50 or 90kPa. Then, start testing to achieve preset vacuum rate and maintain the vacuum maintaining time. Observe the leakage during vacuuming and vacuum maintaining periods so as to see if there are bubbles. A single separated bubble can not be regarded as specimen leakage.
