The Kapton Polymide Valeting Tape 12 mm is used by professionals in watch servicing. They are ideal for use on Rolex watches as the tape size of 12 mm fits the Rolex bracelets. The tape is known to have high levels of endurance and resistance properties. The Kapton tape is an adhesive tape that can withstand high temperatures. The tape is coated with a clear silicon adhesive on one side which is pressure sensitive. This product has the Dupont trademark. It comes in different sizes like 3 mm, 6mm, 9 mm, 12 mm, 19mm and 25mm. The tape comes in a roll which is 33 metres long. The tape technology is based on the Kapton film. Apart from rolls, Kapton spots are also available. They come in 4, 6, 9 and 12 mm diameters and each package contains 1000 spots.

The Kapton tape used in watch servicing is stable over a wide temperature range from -8 degrees Celsius to +370 degrees Celsius. This tape is basically an insulation tape which can be used in extreme temperatures. During the valeting process in watch service, the resistance to friction and temperature properties of this tape are found to be immensely useful. The tape is simply cut to shape and added on to the area to be protected during valeting. If spots are used, there is no need to cut; just use the spots to cover areas to be protected. The tape or spot is also resistant to water, salt water, fungi, bacteria and acids.

Latex finger Cots and Protectors are used to protect fingers when servicing watches. They are supplied in boxes containing 144 pieces. It comes with an easy dispenser and is available in four different sizes to fit all fingers. They can be used during watch service activities like valeting, applying oils and cleaning solutions to keep the fingers safe and clean. They are tough and have anti static property. They do not contain powder and have textured tips to provide more sensitivity while working. They are pink in colour to merge with the skin colour and can be rolled with the rim to fit easily.
