iShaper is an appliance that increases the performance of voice, video and data application delivery from the data center to the branch office with using streamlined infrastructure. It consolidates branch office servers and storage and shapes WAFS and Microsoft services. Slow application delivery and easy access to data are common problems with branch offices. iShaper allows the business critical transfers to move in LAN-like speed across the wide area network without having to worry about upgrading bandwidth.
How does it work?
Deep Layer 7 Plus Visibility
iShaper uses the Layer 7 Plus technology to analyze the different layers of the OSI network model. It inspects the different traffic situations on each level across the WAN differentiating over 600 applications and sub-classifications. This enables the user to apply specific quality of service or acceleration to application traffic at each separate level.
Application-intelligent QoS
iShaper Quality of Service matches bandwidth allocation to business needs to speed up the delivery of critical application delivery. iShaper avoids malicious transaction traffic by providing the ability to predict application performance to ensure the availability and performance of critical applications.
Branch Office Services
iShaper consolidates servers and brings data center services to the branch using the file-aware WAFS implementation with coherent RAID-backed caching at branch locations. Accelerated file access presents fidelity issues associated with workarounds. Microsoft security methods compliance and Domain Controller functionality effectively eliminates these dangers.
Dual Plane Technology
iShaper Dual Plane architecture consists of the Real-time Services Plane and the Advanced Services Plane. The first feature delivers inline high speed latency flow processing, while the second ensures WAFS file integrity and security without interrupting other important applications. The Dual Plane architecture optimizes the wide area network and offers the benefits of inline WAN optimization features combined with out-of-band WAFS without one compromising the other.

Earth Simulator - StudentScholarships.org
By: Drew Backley | 07/01/2010he Earth Simulator was built in Yokohoma and is the size of four tennis courts. It is as powerful as the next twelve super computers in the world put together, and costs about $350 million. By plugging real-life climate data from satellites and ocean buoys into the Earth Simulator, researchers can create a computer model of the entire planet, then scroll it forward in time to see what will happen to our environment.
History of Chemotherapy - StudentScholarships.org
By: Drew Backley | 07/01/2010Before chemotherapy was invented, cancer was treated by a series of painful surgeries that removed the cancerous body parts; nothing was done to prevent the cancer from returning, so it would return and the surgeries were continued until there was nothing left to be done and the patient would succumb to the illness.
