When you are deciding a theme party, the biggest question is “which theme”? And this can take some time to decide upon. It helps to know what occasion you’re planning for, like for your child’s birthday, you would choose a superhero theme and not a renaissance theme. For Children
Fairy Tale Parties
Children grow up with fairy tales and having a theme party based on their favourite fairy tale character would be a great hit with them. You can have a Cinderella or Beauty and the Beast theme party. Dressing up as pixies and gnomes will totally enthral the kids. A favourite with young girls is the Barbie Theme party. Dressing up as a Barbie in a fluffy pink dress is a dream of many young girls.

Super Hero Party
Which kid doesn’t have a super hero fantasy? From Superman to Spiderman, from The Hulk to the Fantastic Four, every child wants to be some superhero, so this theme party will definitely rock. You can have a few poster cut outs and design the invites and food around the theme.

Comic/Cartoon Characters
Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and the new favourites, Shrek, The Incredibles or some more of the Looney Tunes are a great idea for a theme party. The all time favourite would have to be Tom and Jerry. So, why not plan accordingly and let them have a “Looney time”?
