The second series is still running in the name, Naruto Shippuden. Just like any other anime, the plot line of Naruto is also structured into arcs. Each arc will have several episodes in it. Each arc will be separated from the other by episodes that have nothing to do with the plot of the arcs. These episodes are also known as filter episodes. The usage of arcs has been phenomenal in providing the arcs a proper meaning. They also offer great endings after each arc that makes the story line more interesting. The story of this anime revolves around a twelve-year-old boy named, Naruto Shippuden. Naruto dreams of becoming the Hokage of village where he lives in, Konohagakure. In the second series, the boy becomes a matured person and handles the situations more effectively with maturity.  Hokage is the highest achievable position among the ninja ranks. The responsibility of leading the village is also in the shoulders of the Hokage. The popularity of the series is high when compared to the other Japanese anime.
