Home Infusion

Home medical is a category of devices used for patients whose care is being managed from a home or other private facility managed by a nonprofessional caregiver or family member. It is often referred to as Home care as it is intended to withstand repeated use by non-professionals or the patient, and is appropriate for use in the home. Medical supplies of an expendable nature, such as bandages.

Home infusion is often considered a cost-effective way to manage patients who might otherwise need to be hospitalized. While home-infusion service revenues have increased in the past, shrinking margins have forced providers to examine other avenues to increase services and maintain profitability.

Home Infusion Therapy

Home intravenous therapy allows patients to receive vital fluids and medications without the inconvenience or costs of a hospital visit. The established an IV therapy program which provides complex clinical care in the home with medication available through our partner pharmacy. A team of IV specialty nurses combines their assessment skills, technical expertise and community health experience in treating patients with cancer, AIDS, nutritional defects, bone marrow inflammation, leukemia, heart disease, hemophilia and other health problems.

Immunoglobulin Therapy (IVIG): Commonly used for treatment of chronic conditions such as: Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy (CIDP), Multiple Sclerosis, Myasthenia Gravis, and Common Variable Immune Deficiency. 

Hemophilia- Factor Therapy: RxSolutions manages patients with Hemophilia A (Factor VIII Deficiency), Hemophilia B (Factor IX Deficiency) and hemophilia inhibitor patients.

Biological Therapy:  Remicade, Enbrel and Humira are a few of the biological therapies used in treating Rheumatoid Arthritis and other disease states that our specialized clinicians can provide in the home or physician office setting.

Home Health Nursing

Our home health nurses understand the need to maintain a healthy balance between the demands of medical therapy and a patient's desire to live as normally as possible. Each nurse visits a patient's home upon the recommendation of a physician, and while precisely following the physician's orders, develops an individual plan of care as unique as the person for whom it is designed.

Many patients also need assistance with day to day activities like bathing, dressing, exercising, and cooking. So we also provide nursing assistants for those needs, to make sure our patients receive the most complete care.
