3 Reasons Beretta Firearms are Still on Top the Industry

Author: Chad Reimer Author Ranking Silver | Posted: 21-01-2008 | Comments: 0 | Views: 69 | Rating:  (73) Article Popularity - Blue (?) Got a Question? Ask.

The Beretta firearm is one of the top brand names in the USA. Beretta has been a long time favorite with the Beretta shotguns, and Beretta pistols. During the past few years Beretta USA released a number of other Beretta firearms that have brought Beretta firearms to the next level. The Beretta storm series of carbines and tactical pistols has become an instant favorite within competitive shooting communities as well as law enforcement communities. Beretta firearms owes their quality and precision to the over a century of firearms manufacturing.

The military proving ground is where the Beretta M9 began its military career. Over the last twenty years the US military has been using the Beretta handgun as their service pistol, and has gained civilian popularity. During the switch from the 45 ACP round to the 9mm made many of soldiers nervous trusting their life to a smaller round, but has proven effective in combat theaters around the world. Beretta might be based in Italy, but still produces more than fifty thousand handguns for the American market each year.

With such a large customer base its amazing that Beretta can still manage to import a wide range of other firearms, including the SAKO Arms produced Tikka rifles. Beretta has long been one of the top names in quality and craftsman ship, despite the opinion of the Beretta M9; all firearms enthusiasts agree that there is at least one Beretta for all types of shooters. The “bad press” that surrounded the M9 in the first phases of 1911A1 phase out were not Beretta’s fault, due to the poor quality of third party Beretta magazines, and poor quality parts, resulted in the issue of over one hundred thousand new magazines, as well as the US government releasing Beretta firearms from producing their M9 in the USA, which instantly resolved all the prior issues.

Despite the minor flaws, none of which can be blamed on Beretta, due to their contract forcing their parts to be made in the USA, by third party companies lead to a great deal of incompatible parts and less then standard parts. Now that Beretta pistols have over came the initially bad reviews, they are now finding their way into hearts and hands of Americans everywhere.

But the most popular Beretta firearm is still the Beretta shotgun. Within any sporting clay community there is sure to be a Beretta shotgun, making their long history with crafting high quality firearms show when you fire a Beretta shotgun. The Beretta shotguns are some of the most sought after semi-automatic shotguns on the market, making your completion jealous is just one of their remarkable features.

And then came the Beretta Storm, the newest in a wide line of Beretta guns. The Beretta Storm series are designed for law enforcement and competitive shooters alike, with tactical pistols and carbines, these firearms are a long way from the old west long colt that you might remember from the glory days of Beretta. As Beretta gets older, they also are getting wiser to the market, and producing firearms that are really for all types of shooters, while staying true to the organizations which support Beretta, making no compromises and staying in the top five firearms manufacturers in the world.
