Cycling as a sport may seem monotonous but it is truly a test of endurance, will power and determination of an individual. Though it may not seem as exciting as other team or individual sports, it does tend to leave some lasting impressions. Here I refer to the World Championship of cycling the Tour De France. The most popular cycling event in the world, also considered to be the most grueling and the most challenging of endurance events. As any sport does the Tour had its heroes and witnessed a few miracles, but none larger and more significant in its 150 year history than the past decade which belonged to Lance Armstrong.
The story is truly remarkable, and for me it was the decade of the Lance Armstrong version of the Tour De France. Lance Armstrong was a world class cyclist who had won consecutive Tour DuPont titles in 1996 (premiere race of the U.S professional cycling circuit) and was on a high as he had won a few stages of the Tour De France. Then he dropped out of the Tour and was a disappointment at the Olympics. Later that year he was diagnosed with third stage of testicular cancer and had a slim chance of survival. His career and life was nearly over. For all those who think they have problems, cancer is not easy to deal with.
He underwent treatment and tried his level best to survive. In 1997 he started the "Livestrong" foundation for cancer research in association with Nike (recognized by the Yellow Bands) and after nearly a year of treatment he survived cancer. His will to live was much too strong, to give up that easily. He resumed cycling in 1998 and began training, much to the surprise of the Doctors. Then came the era of the Tour De Lance (his nickname), he won his first Tour in 1999, this led to a string of seven consecutive titles from 1999 to 2005.
Lance Armstrong a true hero and champion, for all of us who gave up at some point here is a success story of determination, courage, commitment and the will to live. Lance Armstrong went through the toughest times not only in sport but life as well. Champions can make it happen and Lance made life happen. "Never give up" is epitomized by the Lance Armstrong story.

Yours Cars Electrical System of circuits…
By: parveen531 | 21/11/2009When the automotive industry was in its infancy, it used electricity only to ignite the fuel inside the engine. By the late 1920's, the electric starter replaced the hand crank, electric headlights made acetylene lamps obsolete and the braying of the electric horn drowned out the squeak of the hand-squeezed air horn. Today, an automobile requires an elaborate electrical system of circuits just to produce, stores, and distribute all the electricity it requires simply for everyday operation. The
