A BIG SAFARI TO UGAND’S NATIONAL PARKS

Through the famous Luwero Triangle and Masindi Town, we accessed Murchison Falls national park via Budongo forest, proceeded to the top of the spectacular fall where we saw the Nile's perfected beauty, and marvel as it compressed and squeezed itself from over 1 kilometer wide down through a 7-meter canyon. The 150-meter drop of the falls created a thunderous roar and a beautiful rainbow in a plume of spray - the best thing to ever happen to the Nile. In the evening, we enjoyed the sunset as we returned to the superb comfort and service of Paraa Uganda Safari Lodge for a night.

At sunset, embarked on an early morning game drive on the northern bank where mutesa the guide spotted a family of elephants, 2 lion, Cape buffalo, giraffes, waterbucks and hyenas later we viewed hippos, crocodiles and Uganda kobs.we also viewed bird species including goliath herons, Egyptian geese, pelican bee-eaters, kingfishers, Hombills, cormorants and the rare shoebill stork.

The following day at 2pm. We had a ferry crossing and accessed Fort Portal, passing though verdant countryside and traditional homesteads and farms. This town rests in the shadow of the Fabled "Mountains of the Moon," The Journey is long! At least four hours of driving and spent a night at Ndali Safari Lodge in kibale national park.

After break fast we drove to kibale forest for primate tracking. The whole day we searched for chimpanzees, phoestes, Red-Colobuses, Blues, Red-tailed and we spotted the grey cheeked Mangabeys swinging through the dense forest and birds, butterflies and many small insects. We also had a visit to Bigodi swamp eco-tourism site and encountered rare and beautiful flora and fauna.

Morning at leisure, drove to Queen Elizabeth National Park following the mystical Rwenzori Mountain Range most of the journey. After lunch, at Mweya safari lodge, enjoyed the unique 2hour boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel and into Lake Edward. This trip passed through the highest concentration of Hippos and an elephant with its calf were seen drinking at the water's edge, birds like the king fisher were seen in a big number.

The next day, we embarked on an early morning game drive along Kasenyi track and Queens mile in the park here we got a chance of viewing Lions, Elephants, cape buffalo, Warthogs, waterbucks and the Uganda kobs.There after we were transferred to Bwindi national park via Maramagambo and Ishasha arriving early evening had a night at the luxurious Gorilla Forest Camp. We entered the gorilla sanctuary that is heavily forested and dense landscape crisscrossed by numerous animal trails, allowing us access. We spent time observing the gentle giant gorillas what an exciting adventure we had. The gorillas were shy and peaceful.

In Lake Mburo National Park we had a lakeshore track, where we viewed herds of zebra, Cape buffalo and eland, and Pribi and topis, some bird species like Papyrus Gonoleks, Brown-faced Lapwings, Carruther's Cisticolas, and the extraordinary White winged Warbler and Bare-Faced Go-away bird.
