It is a beautiful combination, a paradise and a tropical heaven. History and culture enthusiasts will take pleasure with archaeological sites in Tulum, with its ancient Mayan ruins on a hill along the coast, next to beautiful sandy beaches and the sparkling Caribbean waters. The archeological area comprises The Castle which is the major of the buildings, and it overlooks the coast on the cliff edge, Temple of the Descending God portrays a diving figure, and is the same figure you can see depicted at other Mayan sites, including Cobá and the Temple of Frescoes dates back to the mid 1400s, and is a two-story structure with vibrant murals on the inner wall. It is thought to have been one of the last structures built by the Maya before the arrival of Hernan Cortez.

One can enjoy and time for adventures at sea. Exploring the coral shelf which extends far out into the sea is flourishing with varied marine life, and harnessing the wind by wind surfing or maybe kiteboarding. There are plenty to do on land, too, like trekking and horseback riding. Then, after all the physical activities, it is time to surrender to the worldly pleasures derived only from a well-selected spa.

Tulum is enveloped in a mantle of thick rainforests. A UNESCO Natural heritage site known as the Sian Ka’an Biosphere has diverse ecosystems which harbor hundreds of amazing variety of fauna and flora. The well-known cenotes of the Riviera Maya are widespread, in and around Tulum, and these amazing freshwater sinkholes are the entrance to one of the largest underground river systems in the world.
