Firstly the Oasis Marigot isn't for people with walking difficulties, there is a steep hill to climb to get to most of the units.

The bay below consists of three resorts, five restaurants, with local shopping including a grocery and a bakery. It is great to go to the bakery in the morning for delicious pastries or supplies for lunch.

You access this by ferry which awaits on the beach below Oasis Marigot. They will drop you at the restaurant of your choice, and then pick you up again.

If you are going to sit on the beach, then invest in a collapsible soft side cool bag, and use it to store cold drinks, and use ice bought from the grocers.

You will be eating at local restaurants, although you of course have a small kitchen if you choose to stay in, but hire a car so you can see more of the lovely island. It is a tragedy if you holiday on St Lucia and don't see it all.

You must go to Chateau MyGo where they have 'Happy Hour' until you well content, and then eat a great pizza.

Do book a sail with Captain Blade, take a bicycle ride through the rainforest and pay up front for a week's water sport rental, which is really quite inexpensive.

Finally the staff at Oasis Marigot help make your holiday in St Lucia. They are very helpful from the moment you arrive with your luggage, until you depart. Happy and smiling nothing is too much trouble.
