A Barbados Hotel Resort that is well worth investigating is the Sugar Cane Club, which is a lovely property tucked up in the hills behind the west coast St Peter Resorts. It can really and truly describe itself as a hill top all suite boutique hotel with 40 one and two bedroom suites and a private villa. All the accommodations have a fully equipped kitchenette as well as all the usual bits and pieces to be found in good quality hotels, and this includes internet access for those poor souls who can't tear themselves away from work. The beds are Queen Size or twin beds, and there is a daily maid service. The views from the suites are spectacular of the surrounding hills and countryside, and some can see the coastline
The amenities include two swimming pools, a squash court, and a shuttle service to the beach and the nearest town which is Speightstown, so you can buy groceries and drinks, although because of the position of the Sugar Cane Club a hire car is recommended. There is obviously a Spa with steam room and hydrotherapy, a Gymnasium with cardiovascular and Weight training equipment. For the energetic there are also mountain bikes available and the hotel is making its own nature trail, but equally vital is the fact that the Sugar Cane Club has two bars and one restaurant.
There is no doubt that the Sugar Cane Club is a place to come to for relaxation, peace and quiet, and not for those who seek an exotic and vibrant night life, so it would make an ideal romantic honeymoon destination on Barbados.
The opinion of guests is always important, and it would seem that people very much feel the Sugar Cane Club is a great place for a getaway vacation, a romantic honeymoon vacation, with a very high satisfaction rate. There is little doubt that guests are impressed by the sheer beauty of the place, the great facilities, plus the willingness of the staff, who will even take you to the beach if a hire car is lacking.
A hire car is such an important addition to a holiday here, because it enables you to go exploring, even to Bathsheba on the east coast, which is not that well known and a great place.
In terms of value for money there are very few Barbados Hotels and resorts that score so highly so often with guests, and when you discover it gets a top rating for value for money, the quality of the rooms and the cleanliness, its' situation, and the great service you might well consider it for a special anniversary break, or the romantic honeymoon destination you have been looking for so far in vain on Barbados.
The Sugar Cane Club is however not the place for families with teenagers or small children, because of the relaxing, peace and quiet nature of the hotel resort. You can have an all inclusive option, but this would probably be a mistake, because there are good local restaurants, and it can be fun to go shopping for food when you are abroad, and thus get more into the local culture. Having said that the Sugar Cane Club has a very good reputation which it deserves for the quality of the food served with extensive choices on the menu for all three daily meals.
Be assured that as far as boutique hotels are concerned on Barbados, you won't find better in terms of accommodation, ambiance than this hotel and spa which makes it a very suitable choice for a quiet romantic vacation or a romantic honeymoon destination.
