An Affordable Vacation in Barbados

Why not an affordable Caribbean vacation in a highly recommended Barbados Guesthouse. We all still need holidays even in a recession

An affordable Vacation comes high on many people's list, and a lot of us want to go to Barbados, so where can we stay to allow us to have an affordable vacation, and yet one that we will really enjoy, especially in this time of recession.

Of necessity we 'downsize' from the five star hotel we normally use, but quite frankly many of the three star hotels just wouldn't fit the bill.

It's time to take a look at a guesthouse, an inn maybe, or even a bed and breakfast type of place, but something completely different from what we are accustomed to.

The Bajan Breeze Guest House is rated the top Bed and Breakfast by many on the Island of Barbados, and this three bedroom property is well worth further investigation. It is to be found at Hart's Gap in Christ Church , and from what many guests have to say you will have a great time if you choose it.

Some things that you need to realise, that whilst your room will have its own en-suite bathroom, is well furnished, clean, with bedding and towels that are changed every day, you can't expect the luxuries of five star accommodation, although the rooms are of a very high quality. Having said that there are a lot of compensations you didn't ever dream of. The first and foremost is the personal touch, and this can't be over emphasised enough. Karen the owner, who is British, can't really do enough for her guests, from organising car hire, to tips about restaurants and bars to eat, good beaches, and interesting places to visit. You will quickly realise how impersonal a hotel is, because Karen genuinely cares about your holiday enjoyment. Not only is this an affordable Caribbean Vacation spot it gives you the chance to mingle with and be part of the real Barbados

The Bajan Breeze Guest House is a 125 year old private house made of coral stone, which has been split in two wit the owner's accommodation at the back, and the three bedrooms, guest lounge and verandah at the front. The property isn't on the beach, but is right across the road from the Coconut Court Hotel and you are allowed as guests of the Bajan Breeze Guest House to use their pool and beach loungers as long as you buy a few drinks which is hardly a problem, and of course lunch helps as well.

There is an advantage here, in that you can come and go with a degree of independence.

There are a number of good reasons to choose the Bajan Breeze Guest House instead of others, and of course the very reasonable rates are one very good one to start with!! This is very very good value for money indeed.

It is very convenient for the shops, good dining opportunities, and great for transport to get you round the island.

Close to the beaches, only a three minute walk maximum, with many others easily accessed by car, bus or taxi.

There are excellent home cooked meals to come back to in the evening, and they come highly recommended.

There isn't much if anything that Karen doesn't know about Barbados so there is advice, very good advice available. The location of Bajan Breeze Guest House is very secure and safe, an important consideration

In conclusion Bajan Breeze Guest House stands proud as a top place for an affordable vacation in Barbados.
