A good RV awning will also reduce the amount of heat that accumulates in the vehicle. This keeps the interior of the RV cooler, requiring less air conditioning to make the living space comfortable for sleeping and cooking.
You can modify your RV to include an awning if it doesn't already have one. If you visit an RV retailer or service center, you may find that they have a selection of awning canopies on hand for you to look at. If not, they are sure to have a catalog for ordering. RV service centers offer professional awning installation so you can be confident your awning is installed properly.
