You can book right before your flight since most last-minute airfares don't have an advance-booking requirement. However I would recommend if you see a fare you like, you should book it right away. Last minute specials are typically great deals and limited in quantity, resulting in being sold out quickly.

It is very easy now to keep track of flights. You can do it on your own or use one of the free services online. By keeping track of last minute flights that are released every week for your city, and you'll begin to notice patterns. You will notice airlines offering deals on similar routes. This will help you know what is a good deal and when to book.

#4: Last-Minute Packages

It may be difficult to find last minute airfare that suits your needs but if you bundle your airfare with a hotel you may be able to get a better deal and the airfare you want. If you book a spring break package it often includes hotel, airfare and more. It may be your best option and give you the greatest savings. There are dozens of spring break websites offering packages, you can easily find one that suits your needs.



#5 Flight Alternatives

You may have tried everything and just couldn't get a flight or vacation package. Don't worry, as I mentioned its not over until it's over. As a last resort there are a couple of alternatives to flying. You may want to consider a road trip to your spring break destination. It may take a little bit longer to get there but as long as your car is not a gas guzzler you can save money on a flight and have a fun adventure getting to Spring Break.
